Cooking Resilience marks a key milestone with the official establishment of the Alliance for Excellence in Culinary VET, coordinated by ECTE (Greece). This public-private cooperation network brings together the project’s partners with culinary professionals, employment centres for professional development, culinary VET training institutions, and culinary VET teachers from Ukraine and across Europe.

The Alliance was created with a clear purpose: to keep culinary vocational education and training closely aligned with the real needs of the labour market. Through continuous dialogue with stakeholders, the network will gather feedback to update curricula, define the competences that promote excellence among culinary VET teachers and trainers, and open up new opportunities for apprenticeships and employment across the sector.

Now that the Alliance is formally established, the consortium’s attention turns to growing the network. Partners in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Ukraine are actively engaging culinary businesses, training institutions, employment centres, and industry professionals, with the goal of involving at least 40 stakeholders across the four countries.

Looking ahead, the Alliance will operate through the project’s upcoming digital platform, the Culinary HUB, which will serve as its main space for exchange, collaboration, and the sharing of good practices between Ukrainian and European institutions.
